I guess I should introduce myself to you...
I am a lot of things: a writer, a jewellery-maker, a ponderer-of-life and I'd like to share with you my creative writing journey!
My writing journey so far:
Back at University:
This was my very first experience of publishing! A small article, I know, but to see your name in print does put a smile of personal achievement on your face!
I regularly wrote articles on student budget recipes, but also, after my placement year, I wrote an article promoting the importance of work experience!
A more recent writing experience:
One of my favourite cities has to be Edinburgh! As anyone who knows me would tell you, I developed a very unhealthy obsession with the place after I lived there for a full and glorious year! So it was natural that I had to write about it:
The beginning of my Publishing career as Technical Editor:
No, of course I didn't write this amazing scientific research paper! I did, however technically edit it!
A bit different to writing about my favourite topics: food and Edinburgh.
So we can add proofreader and technical editor to my skills and experience then!!
So, that has been my journey and my experiences so far.
